I have been compelled by The Holy Spirit to share some information that I shared on a webinar on Thursday night. I hear HIM plainly saying that this information is necessary for the body of Christ at this critical time. Please receive it, if you can.

Below are a few bullet points that I am assigned to share with you. I pray that you find this to be beneficial for advancing the Kingdom of Jesus Christ in you. Many blessings!

We can be emotionally mature without being spiritually mature. But we cannot be spiritually mature without being emotionally mature.

Authentic followers of Christ must be on guard to not allow our emotions to prevent us from passionately pursuing the Truth.

Our emotions are a blessing, but if they are not controlled by The Holy Spirit they will cause us to dishonor Christ.

When we explore the Holy Scriptures it is amazing how many times God addresses our emotions in the most critical situations. Additionally, we can see that there are particular emotions that evil uses to manipulate us into dishonoring Christ (fear, anger). And there are emotions that God The Holy Spirit uses to keep us aligned with Him (love, joy).

The command that God gives humanity more than any other is “Do Not Fear”. This is the emotion that evil attacks us with the most. Fear destroys faith. And without faith, it is impossible to please God.

The greatest command of God is for us to love. If we love as Christ commanded, we will completely fulfill His requirements for being authentic disciples.

The Great Fall and all of our sin is caused by our emotionalism. When we make choices based upon “how we feel” instead of “what God said”, we sin.

It is important that we proactively develop our Emotional Intelligence skill set. When we successfully do so, it will reveal itself in behavior that proves our emotional maturity.

Here are some areas that we can focus on to proactively attempt to increase our Emotional Intelligence/Maturity: 1) Have an accurate self-image – I must own the truth about who I really am based upon God’s reality – not my reality. 2) I will only reveal to others who I think I am. I can’t reveal to you someone that I don’t believe myself to be. When we do express ourselves we must do it in a non-offensive authentic manner. 3) Having empathy for others will help build strong positive relationships. 4) Making good decisions depends on our ability to operate in God’s reality and control our impulses. 5) Handle stress positively by not allowing your emotions to run unchecked by The Holy Spirit, especially in unfamiliar situations.

Begin to proactively work on improving your Emotional Intelligence/Maturity today. Get tested and develop a plan of action to increase your emotional skills.

I pray that you found something here to be a blessing.
